I wrote this book when I had just stepped out of fanfiction and started writing original fiction. This was my very first book. Back then, I didn't know how to overstretch emotions or drag scenes only to increase word count and make chapters look longer. I simply wrote the way I talk, the way I feel things naturally.

At that time, I also wasn't perfect at expressing emotions deeply, and I chose not to heavily edit those old chapters now. I only corrected a few grammatical mistakes because I wanted this story to stay as raw and real as it was when I first wrote it.

You'll read slang, curses, drama, and very real surroundings in this book because I'm writing what I experienced during the eight years I spent in Meerut, the streets, the markets, the people, the language, and the atmosphere. This city is my birthplace, and no matter where life takes me, it will always stay in my heart. That's why I chose Meerut as the setting for my first story.

I hope you'll grow to love this book as the story moves forward.
